Historic Boston Edison Preservation
Our clients appreciate historic preservation as much as we do and no expense was spared in this beautiful renovation. After preparing the spaces by addressing the much-needed structural and mechanical issues, our design team created a masterpiece kitchen that includes English-inspired custom cabinetry, marble countertops, curated hardware and lighting. We restored the windows and matched the original 1.5 inch wood flooring which was, of course refinished, and dressed up the adjacent dining room and den with new paint and some knock-your-socks off wall paper. The final project in this beautiful home was a complete remodel of the hall bath – and the result is an Art Deco dream bathroom with modern appointments. This project was a labor of love and being part of Detroit Historic Preservation is always a privilege for the team at Kendall Design Build.
